The author, Manuel Herrera Aspauza, born in Peru in 1942, after a past as a trade union leader, currently lives in Paris as a political refugee, where he has been a researcher at the Center for Research on Latin America and the Laboratory of Historical and Political Anthropology at the University of Paris. He combines his intellectual background with his poetic and committed vision, bringing us closer, through literature, to a reality that is not sufficiently known.
